I think it works, in a odd, paralleling way. Because that verse is (if I’m remembering correctly) talking about the End Days leading up to Christ’s return. So to have it posted on the day of Christ’s birth actually gives it that much more resonance, at least to me.
*gleep* I think that’s the most haunting and daunting verse in all the scripture.
Especially as females.
