I’ve gotten a new job!!! (I just have to wait for my drugtest to come through….)

My other job I had for a year ended on the 19th, and I’ve been able to find a new one! So exciting! And relieving. More on the new one when I’ve actually started.

It’s good I’ve found a job already, because my car has $600 worth of problems I have to pay for tomorrow. gehhhh. Stress.

Fenikkusuken, one of my favorite Inufic writers, just recced my Dogwood fancomic! squeee!! *runs around excitedly* Thank you so much, chicka!! ^__^

Welcome all new watchers! The next Dogwood installment should be out by next week. XD

OMG I finished. After spending all day and lots of yesterday on it, and after years of using a nice but canned layout, I finally made myself my own COPPERMINE GALLERY LAYOUT!!!

My gallery, finally, is my own!!!! Completely! YAAAAY!!! See, look.

Even has a top banner, and everything. Did the background tile myself. That’s the first time I’ve done that, it was quite fun.

Art I did yesterday, which is now part of the banner:

I’ll probably redo that banner sometime soon, once I’ve got another piece of art I’d prefer on it. Not entirely satisfied.

Happy New Year, peoples! Since, I’ve, like, neglected to say anything about it till now. Yah.

I never blogged about how over Christmas break, the J-Fam went to Mexico! Only about 5 blocks in, but it was Mexico! It was a glorified shopping trip, where I finally got that black cowboy hat I’ve been desiring for forever, and attempted haggling for the first time. And now I can say that, yes, I have been outside of the US once in my life. 5 blocks outside, over the Rio Grande by footbridge. XD

I’ve just had 2 Ice Days! Not that it was really that icy, but it there wouldn’t have been much for me to do even if I do go to work, since my job is processing new contractors, and they don’t work in icy rain.

Went to The Hobbit last week for a friends birthday, and my car was towed!!! AGHEHgh. Anyways, the Hobbit is a hole-in-the-wall Houston restaurant that you have to love the theme of, even if I wasn’t a fan of the vegetarian-tex-mex-brown rice menu. I wanted something more British with lots of meat, cheese, and bread with that name. Oh well.

Just updated the Sess/Rin fancomic, p6-11, check it out: http://purplerebecca.livejournal.com/228040.htmlÂ
