I FOUND it. I think I found it. Actually, the gal at the Industrial Design office found it.

All this time I’ve been looking for something called “Maya for Non-Majors.” It turns out that it is actually called:

INDES 255R. Computer Graphics for Non-Animation Majors.
Techniques used in modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering,
including color theory, composition, visual literacy, and principles
of design.

But in the Registration forms, it was always listed as “INDES 255R. Computer Graphics,” so I never looked twice at it.

Hopefully, this is the class; hopefully, I will be learning some Maya basics here.
And it fit into my schedule nicely (thurs nights only). Thank the Lord!!!!!

IONs–My roommates are awesome, I’m seeing friends all over campus, saying Hi to all kinds of cool people…

It is very fantastic. It still boggles my mind sometimes that I have friends who enjoy seeing me. It really is a new experience for me, you know? Not used to it at all. But it is very very nice. ^__^

Back in Utah! And struggling with scheduling classes. :(
Two weeks is not long enough to be home, and with my family. I wanted to be there longer. :(

But I got in Saturday, and found out one of my old mission companions was down visiting from Canada, so I was able to meet with her and some other of the Sistahs, and we ate out, went dancing, and flirted, etc. And it was a lot of fun. ^__^

Seegmillar, why have you canceled your digital painting class?? Why?!
I must find an art class to take this semester!!! *whaaaaaaah!*

I studied some of Abril’s recent artwork (and how do you study another artist’s work? By copying them!), and immediately after I drew these two:

I wanted to inkwash/watercolor them, but there are no good brushes at home with me (poo-ness), so I Crayola!markered them. (Plenty of those hanging around the house) Me and markers are always a dangerous combination, but these didn’t end up tooo bad. :)

Course, I draw and then color and try to decide who these characters might be: so we have a new, random Purple character (he looked like an Ahkaad waterboy, so thus he is), and an attempt at a SlytherinSlut!Ginny type coloring, but whateva. Both pretty and dazed and confused.

We’ve been having a short thunderstorm every day lately. Lovely, but annoying that I have to turn off the computers. ;]

Been rereading HP Book4: Goblet of Fire, because I’ve forgotten a whole lot from it.
I never realized: we don’t even hear the term Death Eater till book 4!!! o.0 And Sirius, who was stuck near Death Eaters for 12 years, knows nothing about the Dark Mark on their arms. Interesting.
