I never got around to scanning this before. It’s the gals of my comic, colored penciled. I actually did it one P-day on my mission. I never finished Jia’s outfit. Oh well. Elleghany’s eyes are actually gold–sorry, I was doing it from memory. :) Lah!
I spent most of the afternoon scanning really old stuff I never got around to scanning before. Some are from a year before my mission. But still pretty good stuff. :]
On a long car trip, my ride had the “Legend” Tangerine Dream Soundtrack. Fun randomness. So I listened and drew this. :)

Phantom Valentine

Whoo, doing art like this is very therapeutic. I was feeling similarly when I drew it. I feel better now. Eee, colors . . .
All right, opinions needed. I try to keep all of my characters unique. Are these two too similar? They have the same face and nose shape, but different eyes, lips and hairline. Bea has long curly hair, Rachel’s is mostly wavy. Bea is dark skinned, with dark eyes and hair (most of the time ;) and Rachel is light skinned with light/mousey brown hair, warm brown eyes.
They inhabit two entirely different story universes. Beatrice is the main character of my modern spaceopera comic, and Rachel is my Phantom of the Opera phan character. *cough* They won’t be meeting in anything but funky off-topic drawings.
They have similar body types, though Rachel may be larger chested, since she gets to wear corsets and doesn’t run around fighting crime constantly. (oops, did I let something slip there? :P)
The reason they are so similar is because I like drawing that type of face/nose/body type. But I still need honest opinions. Is it too much? (the only one I can change now is Rachel, and I do like her so . . . :( )

I did a quick color on this pic of Cyrus, in case anyone wanted to know that he wears red.
I want to color this one, but someone give me crits first. I can’t fix her hand.
Isn’t it cute though! :D Beatrice and Jeff doing the anchor step of the West Coast Swing. I love this dance, it’s rhythmic and sexy. ^_^ This couldn’t happen in the comic (Jeff wouldn’t know how to swing, though he would know . . . other dances :] ), but hey, it’s cute.
