I’ve been upgrading my cliques to the awesome Ethusiast 3. Oh, this program rocks. (Go Angela!!) I recommend it to everyone who owns more than one clique or fanlisting. ^^ Makes it soooo easy. It is an all-in-one collective running script–runs the collective, each listing, affliliates for all, and even your joined fanlistings. Setting up a new listing is eeeeaaasy. Coding the layout is the hardest part! ^^

Feminine has been completely moved over, and Bottle Fame, Brew Glory is next. :)
(Edit 7pm-Bottle Fame is converted over and works swimmingly!)

And I’m working on my main page revamp, and two other fanlistings, because I’m a fan and I can. mwah. :)

I finished my hardback sketchbook last night! ^^ I got it in May. It’s the prettiest sketchbook I’ve ever done–meaning almost every page has something I like on it. Yea! Of course, I did my rough and ugly, thoughtless doodling in my notebook. :)

The last page is a huge Comic spoiler, so I’m not posting it. :] But here is the 3rd to last page– » Continue Reading

I scanned and made icons! At least icon bases. These are from Laurel Long’s “The Lady and the Lion,” which is absolutely gorgeous. Burne-Jones and Waterhouse influenced faces. 0.0 Sooo pretty.

So I finally found out where everybody was getting those oh so cute personalized icons– here.
Es en espanol, but it says to hit the Print Screen button to copy the page and paste it into your favorite image editor when your icon is how you want it.

So I got rather carried away. It obviously doesn’t have this many options…

Here’s almost the entire cast of Purple in cutesy avatar form! hee hee. ^^
I painted over all of them but Josh’s. Poor kid, he’s just boring and normal. ^^

Guess who Jeevan Elleghany Josh
Jia Zanak Urvasi Cyrus

This was so fun. :}

Alright, m’dears, here it is!

Bottle Fame, Brew Glory

Bottle Fame, Brew Glory–A Severus Snape Fan Clique. It’s very green.

I offered to adopt it from Na-kun, the original owner, over 2 months ago. But now I’ve had time to put up the site. :)
(Hopefully she’ll be able to send me the old members’ list, more effective that way, yah?)

I’m very proud of this. It is COMPLETELY HAND CODED, especially the css. I started from scratch, read up on xhtml, and referenced lots of css sites. The site design is completely in the css, all of those layout images are ‘background images’ placed through the css. This thing is completely skinnable. All I would have to do is set up a style sheet switcher. (It’s unlikely I’ll ever bother on this site, I did it for the experience, more than anything–to know I could Do It.)

I’m using Enthusiast by Angela Sabas to run it. This is a very nice fanlisting/clique script that I worked hard on to get it to do what I wanted. :)

I’m figuring out the best, most efficient way to code using html/css/php–

I’ve been desprately craving new music sources, so today I started searching for internet streaming radio stations. I found Live365.com. It’s user created radio feeds. It has quite a few ads, but they are mostly for it’s paid service, and easy to ignore.

So now I’m happily listening to goth, ethereal, celtic, new age, neo-classical, medieval, and reniessance music–stuff that’s actually pretty!! ^____^

Like right now, I’m listening to Ailein duinn by Meav on Celtic Highway. Have I ever heard of the this before? No. Is it gorgeous? YES.

In Dark Faith Eternal: cool goth stuff
Renradio: filk and renfaire stuff. They just played Jonny Be Faire! And Heather Alexander.

I’m also exploring rss feeds and blogrolling with bloglines.com.

csszengarden.com — I think this is the most beautiful thing I have seen on the web. Oh, the sheer overwhelming ecstasy of web design overload. This is not eye candy; this is a gluttonous eye feast.

The point of the site is to show how beautiful and versatile CSS can be. It’s an open challenge to graphic designers to design the same page over and over again, the content ever the same — which is the glory of css — but each design something new, functional, and exciting. One HTML file, over 80 skins using only css and css placed background images. Form and content completely separate, but unified in each design.

Click through them all, I dare you. Your mind will go into art overload.

This makes me want to design websites and to design them now.

If I get my two papers written and my test taken I can design sites this weekend, right? Pleeeeease? o.o
